The prestigious UN ‘WSIS Award 2024’ has been awarded to BCC for developing the ‘Secure Video Conferencing System-BOITHOK’ in the category of 'Building confidence and security in the use of ICTs'. This global recognition highlights the incredible achievements in Bangladesh's ICT sector under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the creative guidance of Hon'ble ICT Affairs Adviser, Sajeeb Wazed Joy. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, our State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, received this award on behalf of BCC from the WSIS+20 Forum High-Level Event 2024 held in Geneva, Switzerland.
